De Nazarin Community Relief

Water is dripping from a large pipe coming out of the earth in Uganda close to the wakiso district. Underneath the pipe is a yellow cut open plastic container that is collecting the water and debris.
Project

Fresh and Clean Water for Everyone

Project dates: Jan – Dec. 2023

Location: Wakiso and Kampala district in Kiganda and Nabisaluu settlements

Goal: $12,000

Our aim is to provide families with access to fresh and clean water. The donations will be used to drill and construct a hand-water pump system for the two communities. This will help us provide enough clean water to an estimated number of 300-500 people daily. The machines are set to have a 10+ years life span.
Currently, the water that individuals access is frequently contaminated by dirty rainwater, flooding, and garbage. This allows viruses and bacteria to spread at an alarming rate causing disease, fever, and diarrhea.
